Finally, school is ending. Thank god! It’s been such a long year, but that’s not why you’re here so, to the main point, With the end of the year comes huge parties and teens telling the world to f*** off. They don’t care about anything else in the world but tanning, partying, and having fun. People have given up on school and grades and pretty much already checked out. With the heat comes girls dressing with less, and boys wanting more (if you know what I mean). Guys in school are being more rambunctious then ever and expressing it in the art form of practical jokes. They’re pushing “friends” into lockers and shooting spitballs at each other. Super cool! (It’s sad that computers can’t show sarcasm yet). Girls on the other hand differ inversely. Instead of becoming more bitchy, they’ve relaxed and given up on whose hot and whose not. They just want to lay by pools and tan until September rolls around again. It’s hard to tell which season is the best. In Summer, girls are nicer and boys become pains in the butt. But when the guys chill out and stop being mean, the girls become ice cold to match the winter seasons. I guess it’s true what they say, you can’t have your cake and eat it too, oh well. This is me signing out ’till next year. Later peps and have a totally awesome summer!
Okay, so you’re walkingg in the hallway in high school and see a girl and think, “OMG! How did her parent’s let her out of the house?” The girl is wearing 3inch heals, a mini-mini skirt and a white see-through halter top, that ends just below her belly button. The truth is not parent actually would let their kids out looking like that. These girls come to school wearing a mid-thigh length skirt and a sweatshirt, and when they know their in the clear, they roll up their skirts and take of their sweatshirt to reveal their actual shirt. What I find even more amazing then parents hearing about it, and refusing to believe their precise angles are actually slutty, is that nobody in te school says anything. Sure teachers probably think stuff about the outfits their students are wearing, but nobody ever says something. We’re told in freshmen orientation that we can’t wear short short shorts, or mini-mini skirts, or halter tops, or spaghetti straps, and if we do we’ll be sent home. So on the first day, we walk in wearing our wholesome, rule abiding clothes, only to realize that the clothing rules are not enforced. Even in Catholics schools where girls can’t have their skirts more then 4 inches above their knees when kneeling, know after the first day, the nuns don’t care anymore. It’s not just that our generation is full of hoes and sluts, it’s that our mentors, the people we look up to, aren’t stopping us making us think it’s okay. So whose fault really is it?
So, in school I’ve noticed this guy (AJ) who really likes this girl (Summer). He told her this during prom. Of course being that this is high school, I know Summer doesn’t really like AJ (at least not in the same way he likes her). So they’ve decided to just be friends and with that he becomes friends with all her friends. Now Summer happens to have this friend Teressa, who is kind of flaky and not the best person. So ever since prom, Teressa has been, not so subtly, flirting with AJ. If I haven’t already mentioned Teressa has a boyfriend (Johnny), who she’s been ignoring. Teressa and Summer look so much alike, Teressa probably thinks AJ will like her too. This seems really scummy of Teressa to me. So is this really what high school is like? If it is, it sucks!!
Soooo, leading up to the prom all you heard in the hallways was what hair do to get, what dress type, what color dress, nail designs, shoes, jewelry, omg i thought my head was going to explode!!! Who cares about all that stuff? (That’s rhetorical obliviously becausethe answer is no). Then at the prom. Everybody stands around for an hour judging what each other looks like. They see there friends and begin screaming, “OMG! You look so amazing,” or “I love your dress,” while they’re thinking “I look so much better then her”. Then everybody beginsdancing. It looks like there’s a giant orgy going on, it’s so disgusting. Later at the after parties everybody gets drunk and does something you know they’ll regret in the morning. Yup, prom the best! (*Please note the sarcasm.)
Girls have become so mean towards not only each others but also themselves. I hear in the hallways girls talking about people they don’t even know, and saying the most horrible things. They talk about other people’s clothes and hair and boyfriends and friends and don’t actually know who they’re talking about. And no matter who’s being talked about, they all take it very seriously. It affects them and can cut them deep. Girls are always wanting to be excepted but then they turn around and become witches towards each other. This is totally corny but why cant people just get along with each other?!
I really thought this article was very interesting. I enjoyed how the author broke down the comments into separate categories based on what they said. I highly agree with the commenters who thought the baby was cute and “life fulfilling”. It’s amazing how people can see a video like that and think he’s the son of Hitler or the object of all that is evil.
It’s become amazing that something as simple as a father sharing an adorable video with his friends can turn into something as distasteful as the center of a bunch of brainless morons posting idiotic and pointless comments. The video was clearly just a baby laughing at a funny noise, that’s it. Get a life people, it’s not that complex.

Frenemies are people who you act all nice to but secretly hate and want to socially destroy. Alice and Cameron are the best examples of frenemies i know! They are always together ( shopping, sleepovers, etc..) Yet when they’re apart, Cameron says the meanest things about Alice. She calls her dirty names and spreads ugly rumors about Alice all through school, then pretends to know nothing about it. I’ve come to learn what Alice is really like (being invisible has that advantage) if i didn’t know her, I’d think she was a hor! Her reputation is that she’s a slutty stuck up witch who only wants to be friends with a person to use them. It’s horrible. To counter this Alice goes around saying how stupid Cameron is, calling her an idiot. She blatantly lies to Cameron’s face then does this whole fake apology thing when Cameron finds out the truth. Both of them knows what the other is doing, but when they’re together they act like they could never hurt the other. It’s kind of disgusting
In high school, we are all drawn to our clicks. You have the jocks, the cheerleaders, the stoners, the nerds, the art kids, and so on. Yet there are a few of us out there who float around, invisible to everyone. We hear and see everything but no one ever hears or sees us. We hear what best friends say about each other behind their backs and what enemies say about each other, Surprisingly the two sound very similar. We know all the gossip and don’t tell anyone. That it…until now!
